UGC NET 2022 APPLICATION FORM FOR JUNE CYCLE
NTA(National Testing Agency) released UGC NET 2022 application form
for June Cycle. Usually, NTA conducts the NET exam twice a year but due to covid19 notifications
being merged and now also current notification is merged with both Dec 2021 and
June 2022. Here is the complete details of the notification from NTA for June 2022 cycle.
In this notification, we can find a new implementation that NTA
introduced SANDES application to get notifications from NTA.
Mode of Examination: CBT(Computer Based Test) only
Pattern of Exam: For Paper-1, there are 50 Questions with 100
Marks, and for Paper-2,100 Questions with 200 Marks. The duration of the exam is 3hours
without break in between paper-1 and Paper-2. Both papers have MCQs or Objective
type questions only and each question carries two marks.
Syllabus: New subject(Hindu Studies) has been added and no
change in syllabus after June 2019.
Medium of Question Paper: The question paper will be in English
and Hindi
Qualifying Examination: 55% marks for General/Unreserved/General-EWS
candidates in PG or equivalent examination from universities/institutions
recognized by UGC.
50% marks in PGT for the Other Backward Classes (OBC)
belonging to Non-Creamy Layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons
with Disability (PwD)/Third gender category candidates.
The eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ or for ‘Junior
Research Fellowship(JRF) and Assistant Professor’ will depend on the
performance of the candidate in both the papers of UGC-NET in aggregate.
However, the candidates qualifying exclusively for Assistant Professor will not
be considered for the award of JRF.
Age Limit and Relaxation: For JRF, not more than 31 years as on the 1st day
of the month in which the examination is concluded i.e. 01.06.2022 (This age
limit is applicable for the current examination only).Age relaxation is applicable
as per the category.For Assistant Professor, there is no upper age limit in applying
for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor.
