I.Exam Pattern

HPCL conducts its own recruitment exam for HR Officer positions. The exam follows the pattern outlined below:

  • The test will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks (1/4 mark) for every wrong answer.

The exam consists of two papers:

Paper 1 – General Paper:

Includes Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning/Intellectual Ability, and General English.

Total Questions from Paper-1: 85

Paper 2 – Professional Knowledge:

Focuses on Subject/Professional Knowledge relevant to HR.
